My time in France is rapidly, coming to an end. You know that feeling when you are walking through your front door, knowing it won’t be your front door much longer? That’s the feeling that just hit. Maybe walking a little bit slower just to take everything in that I might have taken for granted when I have plusieurs months to go. I have exactly 32 days left in Bordeaux, and 41 left in Europe. Its funny though, I thought I would be a bit sadder to leave this delicious country. Maybe I’m just a bit too happy to be in the same country as my ♡. And going home to a quaint town atop sandy cliffs surrounded by redwoods ain’t so shabby. Especially when its filled with all your best friends and some dopeass professors and classes. However, France, you will be missed. Mostly, the products you make such as (but not limited to):

le foie gras

le fromage

le saucisson

le vin! vin! vin!

le canard!

les kebabs .

les cafés (and being of age to drink)

Travelling, and

Of course, the amazing people I have met here.

I will definitely not miss the über french snooty attitudes that seem to not only be a stereotype, but a reality. Along with the posh ass uniform style atop high heals, and the hella expensive EVERYTHING.

(I am ditching school today. School here is not real. I’m gonna work on real school from Cali).

Anyhow, this has been an amazing experience, and I still have 42 days left to soak it up! I am heading down to Spain to visit a great friend and boyfriend for Thanksgiving next weekend. HOPING, to go back to Berlin the weekend after (my bank account says its not gonna happen), then Amsterdam fsho. Pix 2 cum.

The most creative and inspiring city yet!

To live in Berlin just for a Summer (…maybe longer) has been added to the list.

Salzburg, Austria is home to some of the silliest men. The buns infront belong to a Father of 3 Children, one of which was born the night this photo was taken…

They gifted us Jager airplane shots and sang verrrry LONG drinking songs, teaching us a bit of German along the way.. which, by now, is long forgotten. Salzburg (the salty city) treated us very well with glühwein, Käserkrainer, and beautiful vistas.

Morocco, Africa

I was given the amazing opportunity to travel to Africa. So, for the last week, I spent my time in Morocco. Before arriving, I guess I didn’t put too much thought into what exactly a country that is 98% muslim would be like ( especially being an atheist fare skinned californian ). The majority of women were veiled, some would let their hair down (maybe 1% of the women I saw, or children). Never did I see a woman wearing shorts or a short sleeved shirts, and god bless them in the near 90 degree weather. It was quite remarkable when I went the hammam ( the public bath houses ), and saw the moroccan women let their hair down and clean themselves amongst others. It was like a social gathering… in the shower.

Being in Morocco definitely made me realize how easy we have it in America and in Europe, never having to experience a turkish toilet is definitely an indicator that we live well. For those who don’t know what a turkish toilet is, it is a hole in the ground.
